You do not have to dress your body covered dress fully.

The common question about travelling to Iran is dressing, especially the women wearing type and style during Iran stayed. In this article, we try to explain everything about dressing in Iran.

Many foreigners who intend to travel to Iran believe that they must wear a body-covered dress because of the Islamic religion of Iran. Also, they think that colourful dress, white or any colour the rest of black, is banned here or is against the Iranian culture.

But it’s good to know that it was the rules of Iran for the last generation. Nowadays, the dress codes have wholly changed. Iranians wear modern and fashionable dress like sports, Casual, official, etc.,.so anyone can select their dressing by respecting the culture of Iranians like the described dress code we explain next.

Choose what you want to wear

About ladies, the Shirt must cover hands up to the elbow and pants up to the shin is ok. Also, you can choose any colour you like: White, Orange, Yellow, red or any other that you want. Just is enough that you have a scarf to cover your hair.

Also, there is various kind of scarf in Iran, including the official teenager scarf that covers the whole of the hair or some parts. But the most regular one is “SHALL.”

The whole hair cover scarf is just needed for official or governmental places or schools, and it’s not necessary for the city.

The traditional Iranian dress for women is the “Chador”.

The black cloth covers head to foot, and the whole face is uncovered. Always the grandma and older use it.

It’s fantastic that Chador has a unique unofficial culture inside. The black Chador is always used outside the home; the white one is for the home, praying, mosques, and holly acts. The colourful is related to ceremonies, weddings or any happy gatherings.

Just in mosques and holly shrines, Chador is necessary for women, and you can not get into any religious places without Chador.

Nowadays Chador is not so popular and fewer peoples use it.

Also, there is various kind of Chadors. Usually, Chador is just a cloth and nothing more. But in recent years, fashion designers made new styles of Chador with a sleeve that makes it easy to use.

About the guys, any kind of Shirt is ok, just on the outside they must wear the Shirt with a sleeve. The pants must be up to the shin. You can not wear shorts. Any colour is ok. Do it.
